Westworld is being made by people who know that human brain can be programmed through suggestion or hypnosis, and people turned into biorobots. Biorobots in this show symbolize slaves under hypnosis, while the owners and wealthy clients symbolize the elite who can do anything with ignorant people. And when ordinary people wake up, it's because someone wants them to awake.

The point is that they are making it as an allegory that only people in the know can understand, not explaining it literally, which makes it obvious that the authors belong to an occult group. Normal people explain literally, while occult people fuck with you.
