In the 1970's the EU project was taking off, I heard all this bollocks then, the year 2000 would be armageddon and the reckoning etc. Well it didn't happen then did it?

I'm not saying the apocalypse is nigh or anything, but the symbolism that they're trying to evoke can't be ignored.
