My DISCO level and Secret level clearances are long gone. But I am noticing in job postings that they want you to have had a clearance within the past 2 years.

Is this normal now? I haven't looked at these jobs for awhile. But I remember reading a month or so back that Jared Kushner and others did not have their security clearances granted because there was a policy to shut down those types of clearances until this current fight [swamp draining] is afoot. [In other words, protecting the system from an influx of people trying to help Mueller, et. al bury criminality]

Would that have anything to do with it, or am I looking too much into it and they are just weeding out people who couldn't get clearances?
