The system as it is and was is completely and utterly unsustainable. It will inevitably collapse.
We have technology that far exceeds our current - things that heal and restore bodies, space travel, teleportation, etc... All of these things would negate our current world-paradigm and make most of our activities moot and totally pointless.
We have been enslaved, as a species, most if not all our life on Earth.
It is all coming to a head, in part thanks to technology which is a byproduct of human intellectual evolution. No matter the DNA of human, we all evolve higher than we were. Some just not as far as some, which is why we still have feral humans running around. This technology has enabled instant communication and archiving of information. We have the capability of not having to depend on human minds for data - we can now look it up from a repository instantly , for the most part. We can now categorize how evil people do evil things in the name of good. We can hold more historical data to make future decisions. We can analyze trends and statistics to see all sorts of things that people couldn't before. This has all changed us for the better and we're now getting to the point of realization of the shackles that hold us enslaved. We're removing them.
