One of the things I get asked a lot as a known conspiracy theorist among my friends is if the NWO is real, if they want to enslave world's population, why would they keep David Icke, Alex Jones and other well-known conspiracy theorists alive.
While in some cases they may be NWO agents themselves (Jones in particular - I'm really not sure if he's being fed disinformation or is a disinformation agent himself, but he was wrong so many times that it just looks fishy to me), the more important reason has nothing to do with it.
Let's say you're a naive NWO agent. And you just killed David Icke. On top of it not being a nice thing to do, you've just destroyed your cause, possibly for good.
Why? You've created a martyr. Now people will start asking questions. Maybe Icke wasn't crazy after all. Maybe he was right. And if important people (people in authority positions that can't be blackmailed, bought or threatened into submission and therefore need to be kept out of the loop by NWO agents) will start asking questions, the whole thing would start to unravel.
No, it's far better to let people like Icke spread the truth. People won't believe them, most of people at least, and will think they're crazy. And when there will be proof that they were right, like after Snowden leaks where I've tried to warn people of NSA for years BEFORE the leaks happened, it would be usually too late to stop it.
But if such conspiracy theorist would be killed, people would start to wonder if he or she was really crazy after all and NWO agents wouldn't have that.

They’re both controlled opposition. Why kill your own agents?

I would agree with Jones being controlled opposition with the j3w1sh connection and his whole persona when appearing on the MSN.
Would be interested in why you would think Icke is controlled.
