No one really knows the true origin of the Jews and that's mostly because of their supression of history. It's not even certain that they are of middle eastern origin, there is a theory that the first Jews(before they were even called Jews, before they were even called the Hyksos) were actually of Turkic origin that arrived in Palestine from ultimately central asia. Maybe the Ashkenazi Jews were the first Jews and the Hebrews as we know them today came from these Ashkenazi turks mixing with the locals of Palestine..
