I've been hoping that we would get to see Assange in transit to court today. During Assange's last trip to court, his lawyer was barred for seeing his client. Because of this I was hoping that we could at least see the man, considering he's not been in front of a crowd with cameras since before his stay at the embassy. This would dispel a lot of (imo) very valid concerns for his safety.
Unfortunately, that will not be happening. This morning the Judge refused to withdraw Assange's arrest warrant. If he leaves the embassy, he will be arrested just as before. https://www.theguardian.com/media/2018/feb/13/judge-refuses-to-withdraw-julian-assange-arrest-warrant
What are your thoughts? I'm not particularly surprised, but these developments are only solidifying my suspicions.

My thoughts are that it is ridiculous to still be persecuting this man, who it is obvious the Deep State set up for a fall to get him out of the way. Assange is being persecuted unjustly. All charges against him should be dropped.

I agree. I think there would be a reasonable argument to be made for a time-served sentience, considering he's allegedly been under
houseembassy arrest for years now.
