They're trying to push this shit through congress under the disguise of DACA reform.
The law as written would require all US citizens to carry this ID at all times.
You'll also need this ID to work in the US, regardless of citizenship.
Just to make sure you all understand, under this law every American will be required to submit their fingerprints, retinal scans, and other biometric data to the federal government, otherwise you will not be able to hold a job.
Oh, and the business owners? They'll be required to buy an ID scanner from the government. Every time you apply for a job, the feds will be informed.
This is the single biggest violation of privacy that I have ever seen congress attempt to pass. Please do not ignore this.
Time to go after those high producers and convince them to slow down so the USG goes bankrupt. It's already teetering on bankruptcy, just a little push is all we need. No money, no ability to enforce such nasty surveillance and laws.
I think most of the USA's foreign debt holders probably rely on the US economy too much to want a collapse. They'd rather just sit back and cash their dividends for as long as possible. These people want the US to go fight ineffectual, perpetual wars that stimulate the economy so it keeps up with the inflated amount of currency in circulation.
If the day comes that some country shows up with military force to collect their money, the US will either print more or blow them out of the water. I just see no situation where the most powerful organization in the world would allow itself to implode over some imaginary perceived worth in the form of paper, that they have the ability to print infinitely.
Even so. It would not be to difficult to get a 5-10% slowdown which would put a crimp in the government's ability to function. Price's law states that the square root of the number of employees do 50% of the work. Thus in a company of 100, only 10 employees do 50% of the work. In a company of 1000, only 31 do 50% of the work. Thus, a movement to connect with those top producers in mega companies would leverage quite a shock to American productivity and thus the tax base. Government would have to rethink it's approach to trying to control every fucking aspect of our lives.
