Those stupid pods are bright and colorful and attractive. Of course kids are going to pop that shit in their mouth thinking its candy. By making up some shit about it being a "challenge", they can stay it was just kids being dumb and that they didn't make it obvious enough that those were concentrated packets of pure poison and didn't do enough testing. If they invent the own challenge themselves and present as some low qualtiy video kids made and posted online they can try and garner sympathy from jurors so the wrongful deaths get less money.
