A couple of problems here:

Gematria is older than Pythagoras.

I realize he's using a simpler system when it's convenient for him.

• 1 = a, j, s

• 2 = b, k, t,

• 3 = c, l, u,

• 4 = d, m, v,

• 5 = e, n, w,

• 6 = f, o, x,

• 7 = g, p, y,

• 8 = h, q, z,

• 9 = i, r,

G U N = 7 + 3 + 5 = 15.

His version:

Gun = 7+21+14 = 42

That's because the U and N aren't given single digit values. Why? Because some people reduce the U value of 21 to 3 (2+1) and the N value 14 to 5 (1+4).

Look what he did to make Ferguson fit. The n in ferguson has been reduced to 5 (1+4).

Ferguson = 6+5+9+7+3+1+6+5 = 42

I'll let you decide if the math is slippery when the N in gun doesn't have the same value for addition as the N in Fergusson.

But why not use the real deal when there are online Gematria calculators that make the math simple anyway (plug in a word and get out a value).

Ferguson doesn't equal gun.
