The Voat's owner says that the main search engine doesn't work and it's hard to fix.
The secondary search engine is working perfectly: https://voat.co/discover/subverse/search/top
As you can clearly see, the alleged broken search is obvious bullshit to make people leave Voat.

It's harder to implement a search engine for comment or post data than it is for subverses.
Not only is there more content but the content is constantly being added.
