That explanation was for a small (relatively) fire that burned in Los Angeles near the Getty Center.

There are zero explanations for both the fires in Santa Rosa/Napa Valley, and the ones currently in Ventura County (Northern border of Los Angeles County) called the Thomas Fire.

Also check out houses in Anaheim burned in Oct.
