A few months ago, we had one of the largest data breaches in history. A data breach so huge that it should have had a massive public and government outcry. Yet nothing happened.
Why?
Because the target of the breach was people with huge assets, not the average joe.
I have suspected that this was a foreign law enforcement operation, looking for people hiding assets in the US, Delaware has stricter banking laws then Switzerland, So good that you never hear about it. Why go overseas when you can conveniently bank in the US?
A month after the breach is announced, the saudi regime change occurs, and the people that were arrested now have to forfeit 70% of their assets, due to corruption allegations. This is an odd "coincidence". We also had the panama papers leaks, AND the paradise papers leaks, and no law enforcement activity, no one cares?
Or maybe someone did. Maybe those leaks were a cover for the bust that happened this month. The rest of the world is meh, because it only affects a few certain people in saudi arabia. over 500 billion in assets were confiscated, and more importantly dangerous political players were removed.

Do credit reference agencies know the contents of bank accounts?
Kirmz ago
They know how much money every american has ever made, where they worked, all their credit information. A forensic accountant can connect the rest of the dots.
