But why set this all up just to have the media bury it and the public forget about it six weeks later? Was it a failed operation? Or was it genuinely a mass murder and the police and media bungled it up so bad they covered it up to save face?

I can only guess the media campaign was the attempt to cover up, and the media are struggling with the new reality that their power is fading fast. They're in denial over their irrelevance and are ineffective at controlling public opinion

Well if my parents are starting to question the narrative then they must be on shaky ground.

In this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwSJiAwoMpY a man fires an AK-47 repeatedly until it catches on fire.

Firing and reloading fairly rapidly, he maybe fires 500-600 rounds, I don't recall the exact number.

The official story is that an old man fired 1000 rounds in 10 minutes. As you can see, that is physically impossible.

I just wonder if the law enforcement agencies that try to sell this to the public think we are stupid, or if they are stupid for making this up without, Oh, I don't know, maybe checking if it's physically possible. I mean, at least be competent if you're going to blow smoke up our asses.
