The Book of Enoch was never included in the canon that predates Christianity. It is not in the Hebrew canon, or the Septuagint. It was not even included in the Deuterocanonical books, i. e. "The Apocrypha." It was never recognized by the Church as canonical. It was not unknown, and there are a few references to it in the New Testament. That being said, the fact that it was never considered Holy Writ and it was known and quoted, it is hard to figure how it could have been "banned." And a reference to the "roman catholic church" in reference to the formation of the scriptures, is anachronistic.

The romans destroyed this wisdom wherever they found it. They then made their own version after they burned all the libraries such as alexandria

Wait...the Book of Enoch was destroyed or it was banned? Which? And made their own version of what after the Alexandrian library burned in 48 BC?

The point I'm making is that there is a lost wisdom. The war against this wisdom was spearheaded by the romans including the catholic church. Christianity is a severely altered religion. The original Christian beliefs were burned in Alexandria by the romans under Julius Caesar and again by the Muslim emir kaliph.

Then the dark ages began.

The ancient wisdom is resurfacing

You do realize the absurdity of claiming that Christian beliefs were burned 50 years before the birth of Christ?

Christianity originated as an Egyptian doctrine. Yeshua was an awaited messiah to many peoples. Egyptian Coptic religion and Christianity are one

You don't answer the questions asked, which is telling. Enjoy the delusions.

The Egyptian Doctrines were hidden, altered, or destroyed. The story of Jesus is based on these Doctrines.

And your documentation for this is what, youtube?

LOL. It is just what I have read about the manuscripts that made it into the Bible, for example. Some were destroyed and others were altered to remove information not mean for the human cattle.

Are you familiar with the Nag Hammadi Library? This story below should sound familiar to you, but it has a totally different take. I seriously doubt they would want this story in the King James Bible.

So you are a Gnostic and not a Christian. Your choice, of course, but not at all convincing to a Christian.

I am an Atheist, but I have been doing a lot of research on esoteric knowledge the past year or so. I am very, very Secular, though, and I have a lot of Christian friends.

Which version of the Bible do you prefer? Have you researched how that particular version came into being?

Regarding the Nag Hammadi library, it occurs to me that the "rulers" and "authorities" have a motivation to prevent such manuscripts from becoming well known. That way, it is much easier to control the human cattle.

Also, the "rulers" and "authorities" will not tolerate someone like Jesus stirring things up. I believe that the people who rule the world today are descended from the people that Jesus rose up against. The people who rule the world today are Satanic pedophiles, and these types of people have always ruled.

I prefer English translations of the Septuagint for the OT and the Holy Apostles Convent English translation of the NT. And yes, I know the history of Bible translations.
