If the people of the UK are stupid enough to let the politicians get away with this crap, then they deserve it.

Most people are unaware that his type of stuff gets passed, take the snoopers charter for example. Although making them aware doesn't really do much. Brits are really apathetic, this (alongside our 'tolerance') is our biggest downfall. Also, Brexit is a perfect smokescreen to make sure shit like this flies under the radar.

I think it's mostly because life here has been pretty comfortable, no tyrannical or authoritarian governments, although with this type of legislation we are sleepwalking into the abyss. There's no foresight. Yes, passing these laws probably won't affect anything at the minute, but who knows what type of government will be in power further down the line?

If you think this one's bad, a person recently got sentenced to 3 months in prison for posting pictures of a dead body on Facebook. 3 months in prison for posting some photos online, it's ridiculous.

The first step is to recognise that Facebook, Twitter, Google, Android etc are owned by "them." In the UK, our successful battle against national ID cards back in 2008 was futile, if we continue using these platforms. We need alternatives like Voat, and to make use of decent VPNs like Mullvad, as well as decentralised P2P tools like RetroShare or Riot.im.

Laws don't mean anything if they cannot be enforced.

The UK is the modern-day base of the Knights Templar, so they basically view communism/Islam as the biggest threat, with British nationalism considered way far down on the threat level. The politicians pay lip service to it, but the Brits don't do National Socialism anyway, which in a sense is good for us. We can be more creative and dynamic in how we take these people on.

P.S. They run 'PSYOPs' to make you think you cannot do certain things. Grenfell (which you are referring to) was a false flag. So considering there were no dead bodies anyway, there was no 3-month sentence for supposedly posting pictures of dead bodies on Facebook. It's just classic divide and conquer to get people fighting! Still, best to ditch Facebook/Twitter and use a VPN, all the same.

We're the many. They can't control the way we think anymore, which is why they are resorting to these desperate tactics.
