Whatever query you submit to Google, the only results you get are from Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, while independent social networks and forums are invisible. Even if you ask a simple question about movies, you get only IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes links, but independent sites like Metacritic are invisible. Isn't it amazing that the fucking government doesn't give a fuck about freedom of speech and information? The same government who made bribing legal by calling it lobbying.

Try bing, and now baidu.
Trust me, once people start moving to baidu, they will dial back the censorship. They fear competition that they can not control.

You have bing search, the old yahoo engine which uses google software anyways, DuckDuckGo, Startpage, Russian Yandex, Baidu is a Chinese search engine, IxQuick is another alternative, some engines like AltaVista have been bought out but new engines pop up all the time, Ecosia is a green enviornment activist engine
