The more I look at this photo, the more I think there is something very off about it. Notice the difference in directionality of shadow for his head versus the .38? Doesn't add up.
Then I noticed the blood on the front of his shirt... Seems weird too.
Zoom in on the shell casing in the pool. You can see how the casing makes an indentation? (Not sure what to call it). Some of that might be artifacts from zooming so much, but dunno.
Even if they pushed the body backwards and he was initially sitting, shot and hand fell to chest (wouldn't happen but just go with it), well, the blood would've dripped down his chin and there would be a lot more on his shirt.
There would also be spatter/spray of something? If he shot himself through his mouth to hide the entry wound (which preparedness, he would know is the wrong way to do it), there should still be spatter somewhere.
Also, again, on the lack of exit since there is no brain matter. Why is there such a large pool of blood? Wouldn't his hair be coated if it 'pooled' there?
