That sounds more like rounds snapping near the camera and the rounds firing, not two separate guns. I've been downrange of many weapons, and this sounds like one weapon firing from a considerable distance.
After pouring through multiple videos, there is definitely more than one weapon firing.
That said, there are both echos and sonic cracks being reported as multiple weapons. The sonic cracks are the rounds passing near the camera, and you typically hear them before you hear the sound of the round being fired from the weapon. Supersonic rifle rounds vs speed of sound. The bullet is getting there faster than the sound of the rifle, and created the typical sonic crack of anything going faster than sound. I keep hearing people say this is someone shooting from nearby, but its not.
I've heard some of the echoes, but echoes in a metropolitan area are new to me. I've heard plenty of weapon echoes in mountains, but it doesn't sound anything like this.

Could it be an echo off of buildings in the distance?

Exactly this. One gun. The bullets just sound different as he started firing closer to the cameraman.
