Ammon Bundy's lawyer, Marcus Mumford, is now in US Marshal custody after repeatedly yelling his client was free to go after the verdict was read in a federal courtroom Thursday afternoon.
Many moons ago when I was in law school, my Criminal Procedure professor (who was also a county judge) once remarked, "Generally speaking, if at the end of the day someone is going to jail, preferably it should be your client and not you."
Sounds like he taught the majority of legal professionals and criminal investigators now on the job. They don't care if they catch who is doing it, they want to fill cells. Their conviction stat is the only concern.
