"Rule 2: No overt attacks on people's race, religion, ethnicity, nationality, or creed". People saying that this is his rule are talking out their asses, the rule was in place since 2015, before he became mod here. Before this shit storm started he barely removed anything from this sub, so these accusations of blatant censorship are also coming out of peoples asses.
I never said that the rule couldn't exist. I said it SHOULDN'T exist. If the community didn't have a problem with it, why was it removed? Why is no one displeased with its removal? Every comment I've read so far in this topic has been either positive or neutral.
I'm displeased with its removal, but not for the reasons you would imagine. The way I see it, this has been a rule since forever, and I havent seen it cause much controversy until some people from v/protectvoat came here screaming about censorship and a mod abusing his powers, and posted these lies all over voat riling up all the shit flies, causing the immense shit swarm that happened, and might still be happening.
I would have preferred to see the v/conspiracy community taking care of its own rules, and not have people from other subs coming here for a trolling campaign and having their way trying to get the rules and leadership changed all at once.

Anyone that can't take an insult here or there is on the wrong site.

I agree with that, but theirs a line they crossed when they spammed their insults, and inundated v/conspiracy with trash.

It is a non system sub and they can have any rules they wish. You and I may find it ridiculous, but the Conspiracy community had no problems w it.
