Just a reminder that if you played the Powerball - you were robbed. This isn't a bitter rant because I lost. I'm tired of how much we are lied to about every single fucking thing that happens in this world. It's not the game itself that's rigged - it's the winners who are staged. Then all you need is to film about 50+ different drawings before the drawing is aired. Pick the one video drawing containing the most losers in the night's game with the time you have between sales cut-off and the airing of the pre-recorded video. The people that win enormous jackpots are getting worse at acting as each "winner" comes forward. I'm sure they get a something for playing the part - like 10-15 million. Today's winner was my favorite fake in a long time. The press conference today was an incredible example of fakery. The relationship with the lottery official directing the time of the conference was all too telling, especially her unnatural proximity to the winner. Her husband tragically died recently and not a single mention from her about him. After getting her late husband's pension and life insurance she's on a roll now with the Powerball win isn't she? And they wanted her out on TV by this morning to get us all to forget about it as quickly as possible. By next Monday you won't remember any of it. We are all living on Sesame Street.

The last family that won 500 million were so proud to say they weren't going to spend a dime. That is some stupid shit, why play if you have no intention to spend, I agree with you, they were probably fake winners.

you can simply live off the interest. 500 million? the interest on that alone is ridiculous. you could live like you had a 7 figure job and never lose a dime of your savings. thats what i would do

They were on the news the other day, they didn't move to a new house, they drive the same old cars and still go to work. They don't invest it, nothing, they just sit on it. Why play? Let someone have it that will do something with it.

the amount of lottery winners that go bankrupt is insane, once you start spending it becomes extremely difficult to stop the spending. its similar to the NFL they go bankrupt just letting the stuff sit is the most responsible decision instead of having only a momentary glimps at wealth
