My browser slows down almost to a freeze when I'm writing comments that are somewhat controversial on youtube.. something's up.

I had my browser crash repeatedly when viewing controversial vids a lot past few week not tech savvy at all but never had a problem previously

Try to watch also some decent videos, as a control group and see if your browser crashes.
