Commander of US navy orders worldwide 'operational pause' as analysts suspect crew fatigue may be factor in naval collision

The obvious conclusion is that these US navy ships are having all their electronics disabled, so they are just sitting ducks, and there is nothing they can do about it. Washington is being sent a message to stay out of China's backyard, and the US military doesn't want to lose face by admitting it.
The Chinese have stealth technology that [the US doesn't understand], and the Russians have electronics/radar jamming equipment that can [completely disable US warships.]

What is the last technology that they Chinese had that we didn't understand at the time? Gun powder?
I'd bet a dollar that no country has war-ready technology that we don't know about and haven't prepared for.
