Did the USS Fitzgerald get hit with a Chinese EMP? (Conspiracy)

Just got pieces of intel about USS Fitzgerald running into a container vessel. Apparently the theory is they lost control when an EMP took out electronics. Speculations abounds.

I went on google news and it's sterile. I guess the "fake news" clean up crew is working quite well.

I'll believe it when we get word on the container ship or crew reporting their smartphones no longer working.
