Well yeah, the Tesla S is a luxury car for millionaires (and people crazy enough to get a car they can barely afford).

Isn't it kinda surprising that it got so many subsidies in the first place?
I guess these subsidies were in place before Tesla came along and just weren't used much since hardly anyone was buying electric cars.
