My grandfather has a certificate, for being in a nuke test in the pacific. He was in the navy. I've seen the certificate, and he witnessed it.
So ya nukes are a thing.
In the first 10 mins of the Doco the guy explains how they had navy guys stacking TNT on one side of the island supposedly telling them it was for comparison, then had the same on the other side.
So.....maybe he just saw a massive TNT explosion
anyway his "certificate" doesn't prove anything that it was a nuke he saw, cool story tho.
Yea no Im calling BS on this one. Wish I could remember the story 100%. However the blast blew the destroyer he was on back miles. In the opposite direction his ship was going. TNT isn't going to do that.
Maybe your right tho. Maybe the government went through the trouble of having thousands of soldiers in fake tests, and made up mushroom cloud water marked certs, just so they could convince their future grand kids nukes exist. /s off
