Do the Elite acknowledge their physical weakness, and therefore not being the fittest for survival? Do they acknowledge among themselves that they would be the first to die in the event of any cataclysm?

Everyone is there to protect the elites. Intelligence agencies spy on you so you don't go hang the elites. Media lies for them all the time.
