Google Earth Antarctica blurred (Conspiracy)

So only a month or so ago we had surprisingly good quality images of Antarctica on Google Earth and now that they created their online version of Google Earth, all of the Antarctica imagery is blurry as hell. Can't even see the peaks which have the pyramid shape.

Speaking of which, why are there no Google Earth images of the ice in the Arctic?

The artic is in the northern hemisphere whereas antartica is in the sotheren.

Where specifically? I can see arbitrary places unblured within the artic circle.
