Anyone who is surprised by Trump's actions wasn't paying attention during the election race.

His stance on "leakers" or "whistleblowers" is well documented, and anyone who voted for him without knowing we would end up biting this bullet is an idiot.

I voted Trump, I did so with confidence, and I still stand with him as our president. But I knew 8-10mo ago that if he was elected the surveillance state would grow and that Snowden or Assange might be declared enemies of the state or worse.

Donald Trump is an authoritarian, a trade protectionist, and a fairly militant leader, all of that should have been obvious from the beginning. I'm somewhere between a Minarchist and a Classical Liberal and I voted for Trump, not because he is what I wanted, but because he is what we needed. No one else had a snowballs chance in hell except Hillary, and we all know that would've been 100x worse.

So go ahead and speak up and disagree, I'll join you too because I don't like this any more than you do. But anyone who abandons Trump over this is either stupid or intellectually dishonest with themselves, any of us who paid attention knew this might happen.

Abandoning Trump at this point is just playing right into the progressive's/liberal's hands.

I agree that we definitely needed a trade protectionist. With Hillary, everything and everyone was for sale.
