People who are not sick should not get vaccinated. Let others pump their own bodies full of toxic substances if they want to. More power to them. Good luck. Why put something in your body that has a good chance of hurting you when you are in perfect health? It's nuts.

I dunno.Maybe it's just me, but while only something like 5% of the population trusts "government" and "government funded research", most of these websites are littered with articles about "CDC studies the effects of glycophosphate, News at 11". Obvious contradiction here.

"had a better alternative on hand". Lol yes, like not getting the vaccine in the first place. 50% effective, and 50% end up with shingles for sure or some other fun disease plus compromised immune system. This is outrageous. I'm sure the elderly who don't read up on their own aren't even told they might should consider not taking it.

Some vaccines use only proteins related to the live virus and in fact contain no virus at all.

The only known good small pox (I know this isn't chicken pox) vaccine was based on cow pox. That is not what the US based ones are. Cow pox won't kill you if the vaccine fucks up, small pox definitely can.

Not always. It can be a weakened version, or a dead version, or even only part of a virus. Live (weakened) versions are a bad idea for people with compromised immune systems, because they can cause a full-blown infection. Target population is 60+ (though approved for 50+)

Do you know what a lot of old people have? Weakened immune systems.

Not being funny but isn't "getting chickenpox when you are a kid" the shingles vaccine?

Sinsimel ago

Being exposed to chickenpox as an adult(who had the chickenpox as a child) does give boost to his immune system against the shingles virus. That chickenpox vaccine opened up a gateway for them to push the shingles vaccine, which is shown to rarely work.

I read somewhere that kids who get the chickenpox vaccine and never get chickenpox are more likely to get shingles in their 20's or 30's. The virus is activated when your immune system in compromised. So maybe it's when they move out of their mom's basement.

You know, I've had chicken pox twice and have shingles in my mid 20s. Very uncommon but it can happen I guess.

Figbash ago

You had chickenpox twice? How does that happen?

auggs ago

I didn't have it very bad the first time so I guess I didn't develop a strong immune response against it. I was about 4 the first time and then 7 the second time.

AIDS?

el_llama ago

Nope, shingles is a reactivation of the chickenpox virus.
