So many people are indoctrinated with Hegelian Dialectic, that they automatically must choose the opposing side, or put you into the polar opposite, because they can't fathom a social issue as anything other than black or what...there is no spectrum of possibility for anything. Its a lose/lose conquer us tactic thats been bred into us for ages now. In order to break out of the paradigm it starts here.
It sounds like he had a very weird take on it. I think it is interesting to listen to other perspectives. It is even good to agree to disagree. I would not mind seeing that exchange and even commenting. It sounds interesting.

It's not just this sub, there are people all over Voat who are either trolling or belong in an institution.
I had someone telling me I was pro-slavery because I believed that access to clean water was a human right.
