Just kinda sayin, guys, as an outside observer the majority of shit that goes on here seems like trollposting. I am definitely the Scully to these X-files, in this equation.

Okay, but Mulder was right.

And we have the NSA. It's more or less certain everyone in government with power is out for themselves, especially law enforcement. What I'm saying is, some of the notions and ideas are not inherently wrong. The methods and ways of going about them, and lack of critical thought, often lead to wild theories that can't possibly be proved.

If you have watched X-files, or care to recently, Mulder was often "right" more by accident than design. Though he had knowledge and sometimes a system, there was more art than design in his thought. Which is to say, probabilities by induction where the real empirical work was done by Scully.

A lot of people see patterns. Humans are good at that. Whether or not those patterns really mean something? This sub is not so good at that part. Trying to play that role only grabs you downvotes, however, as you're not a "true believer". I want to believe. I'm just not easily convinced.

It's also certain that, in terms of social theory, replacing the function if an organization is more effective than trying to change it internally. Yet most often the sort of response is an armchair "Eh fuck it I got my guns".
