I'm intrigued. I've rather assumed for a while that some kind of 'panic' would be happening amongst those in the know. Rather interesting to find out that this might possibly be happening.
There's a lot of comments in other similar threads shouting this down pretty hard, but... I've been watching things for a while.
Well, being a peasant, I will continue with my having no choice but to stay where I am, and prepare as best my barely-able-to-buy-food ass can.
Putting the conspiracy theory bit to one side, people with enough money do not panic over things like turmoil in a country. They have at their disposal the resources and the ability to up and move on a whim. They don't keep their money in one spot where it can be frozen easily or lost in a bank run, they keep it in hard to track accounts in banks with very strong privacy laws and very iffy money laundering laws. They keep it in sovereign bonds and precious metals. They keep enough money diversified in enough ways that even if everything crashed, they would still have enough to hunker down and ride it out. They do not panic, they merely shift strategies.

That's alright, there's plenty interesting coming one way or the other.
