The IRS seized $1.8 Trillion from people since 2016. Most were never charged with a crime.
What makes Taxes any more justifiable than Civil Asset Forfeiture?
Both go to fund the government, maybe even to help build roads in some cases, or at least patrol them.
Civil Asset Forfeiture might even be MORE justifiable than taxation, at least they are only robbing people suspected of wrongdoing.
