Was curious about an international law, specifically if marijuana is illegal because the UN says it is illegal (it is, in fact, illegal internationally). So I typed into Google "did the united nations make an international law making marijuana illegal?"
Google came back with a message that basically said your account is making suspicious requests, please solve a captcha. I did, and it finally gave me results. I don't use Google often, but that was kinda weird. I've never been forced to solve a captcha for a search query before. Guess asking questions about what the UN forces other countries to comply with is bad.

Just did the search, no problems. But there is a white van outside with a helicopter overhead

I just thought it was odd, I've never had to do a captcha for google searches, ever. I thought maybe inquiries into the UN via google might have had a trigger associated with it but now I doubt it, since no one else has been able to duplicate the issue. I guess it's nothing, but... I dunno how much better I feel that this issue only affects me. Am I just paranoid?

No, you are not paranoid. You found something odd, so you asked. The fact that you asked makes you more inquisitive than approximately 60% of people. The fact that you gave a decent report of the incident puts you into the top quartile of the remaining 40%. However, since you were not descriptive enough that puts you into middle quintile of the top quartile of the remaining 40%. (I meant the first part; the math part is a joke)
