Since so many conspiracy theories are starting to be shown to be true, it is suprising to see that the Labor bomb theory, so popular at the time of the sinking, seems to have vanished completely from the official narrative

Initially, White Star denied anyone had even died

Morgan had just had his ship (whichever one it was, other conspiracies dovetail tidily with this one) blown to kingdom come when he expected something else to happen. This was not part of the plan and they needed time to come up with a reasonable story. What they had to hide the fact that the sinking of the titanic was payback from Labor

The bombing of the Times has been similarly scrubbed from history
http://articles.latimes.com/2010/oct/03/opinion/la-oe-irwin-bombing-20101003
"The terrorism that gripped America 100 years ago is barely mentioned in California history books today. The Times long ago resigned itself to making at least a modicum of peace with the unions. The attack on the newspaper is now regarded as an embarrassment to organized labor, which has never gotten around to an unequivocal denunciation of it. A 1996 history of the Ironworkers Union says that "the dynamite conspiracy and the bombings are neither a point of pride nor a reason for guilt. The Iron Worker leadership had no real option other than to succumb in the open shop battle, which was unacceptable to them.... And despite other consequences of the dynamite campaign, they did save the union. The international officers stretched the limits of zeal in a righteous cause."
Why didn't Labor take credit at the time? When Wall Street was bombed in 1920, no one took credit then, either, but look where they parked:

"Hardly anybody took much notice of the old horse and its dilapidated cart that was making its way along the road, stopping in front of the J.P. Morgan bank."
If the Labor bombing theory was suppressed to because the hit was so successful and might give others ideas, that plan has certainly failed miserably- Ted Kaczynski was obsessed with the iceberg on which he thought the Titanic supposedly foundered.

Very interesting.
The bombing ties more into how the ship was found than an iceberg.
When Ballard was looking for the Thresher and the Scorpion, he found that a torpedo had exploded on the inside, and it left a trail of debris. he found those ships from that debris trail.
He also found the Titianic from a debris trail as well. Would an iceberg hitting a ship leave such a debris trail? A bomb on the inside would. Also if the ship did hit an iceberg, everyone topside would probably know.
The problem is eye witness testimony indicates that they where not well organized with the damage control effort. You would know if a ship hit an iceberg, it would be fucking loud, and it would sound through the entire hull. You would also see the iceberg in the distance as you left.
But an explosion? that would be hard as hell to investigate on a ship. Was it sea gas? a gas leak? a steam main breaking? Very disorganized, and would take down a large ship, especially if the bomber worked on the ship, and knew where to place the bomb.

Sounds interesting! Im looking into this deeper later.
