I commend Matt Damon for the speech. Those are some pretty words grounded in genuine truth, but I believe that is all they are... pretty words.

If Matt Damon truly wanted to make a difference, truly wanted to advocate for extreme civil disobedience and an abolishment of the tyrannical leaders addressed in the speech, then he would utilize his celebrity position to do so. He would form a coalition of other well-respected, popular celebrity profiles and help initiate a movement. America has become a society driven by celebrity culture, he holds the capability of using that fact for the greater good. It's not enough to just discuss it by pointing out facts that the rest of us are already aware of... he has the potential to use his high profile position to convince the complacent youth to rise to the occasion not through words or speeches, but through legitimate and unrelenting action. Instead, all we get is another celebrity reading an idealistic speech and receiving applause for stating the obvious.

Yep, Mel Gibson came out of the closet while drunk and told some truth, and where did his career go?

Look at Clint Eastwood with his "American Sniper" Bile, all for Israel, and feces for USA.
