I've noticed too. I check their time on site and scp/ccp as well as post and comments histories before upvoting anymore, but it doesn't really help since they just upvoat each other.
And with the amount on here, it is impossible to stop now since ownership has said they don't want to set precedent with a directed purge aimed at the bad elements. Without a directed purge aimed at the unwelcome elements (shills and spammers) and a system in place to prevent those devices from being used to login, they will keep coming back, as they can just run themselves through a proxy and beat an IP ban. We would probably have to go to invitation only after the purge.
The admins have said they don't give a fuck. I think at this point, this site has about a six month period before it turns as neutered as Reddit, or just gets bought out and shut down.
Worst comes to worst, they can't shut down 4chan.

SaneGoat was right. This site has been taken over by shills. Why do you think anyone who talks about him in a manner willing to consider what he's saying, gets instantly downvoted? Shit, I thought he was crazy too, but when I started to speak with him about some of the people he claimed were shills, when I looked into it, he was right, most of the time. And then the downvotes started flowing in on me.
Sanegoat applied a broad brush to who he calld shills and ruined the word for a long time. Most likely people get downvoted because hes called someone a shill who they know or themselves personally. Show me the ones you looked at that he was right about? I'll show you 5 more that are on that list because they disagreed with him.
