maybe google is doing the 'good' thing by listening to us and taking actions according to what we want. for all we know their decisions are being made by a quantum computer.
I've had the thought that possibly with good people like you and me opting out of the blanket spying, our influence will be lost and we will end up with the worst of outcomes. could it be better to let them spy and be thankful at least someone is listening and hopeful that they'l improve things the way you want?
You do raise a great point - at what point in time do we STOP the path of dystopian robotics destroying humanity and embrace the idea that machines could in fact help us bring about some techno-paradise?
