Due to a complicated situation, I'm most likely going to find myself in close proximity with this person. I just met him for the first time tonight and will be taking a work related trip with him in the near future. He's dating a girl that I work with/had a brief fling with. Based upon my basic level research and what she's told me, he's the real fucking deal.

I'm not sure what I'm even looking for by posting this. Advice maybe? I only have one friend who truly understands how fucked up this situation is and he's about as creeped out about it as I am.

I can back all of this up, but don't want to release more information than necessary right now. If anyone has any suggestions on how I should move forward, please, I'm open to suggestions.
