night mode makes my eyes happy when the sun goes down.. being a neckbeard fedorewielding salad tosser i need the blackness :|

It's the theme. Typogra theme has a white image background to the posts, so night mode cannot turn it off.
There is a way to give it a dark background, a few verses including my own have edited it to have one.
