Interesting. This is the first I've hear that he shot a politician.
Calls to mind the Tuscon shooting where District Court John Roll was assassinated while a wounded Gabbie Giffords got all the media attention.

same, the media has been awfully quiet regarding that major fact. Maybe in case giving it more coverage may promote an actual crazy shooter to aim for politicians.
