Can this be true? Socialism is trashed as the cause of economies collapsing etc, but I have a hard time seeing it being the case for all forms of socialism. Nordic socialism was the ruling ideology during the Nordic glory days in the 60s-70s, when the Nordic countries were world leaders in just about everything. Same can be said about national socialism in Germany, turned the country from Europe's poorest to the worlds richest in 8 years.
