Everyone else had left and I was playing cards with my mothers (I have lesbian moms). I accidentally said that I like Russia's ideas on becoming the biggest exporter of non GMO produce, and that if it weren't for Putin being a homophobic pederast, I would live there. Well, that went over about as well as if I had murdered Obama in front of them. We went into conspiracies and corruption, and I told them I believe 9/11 was an inside job, and tried to explain the proof, but they weren't interested. They asked well what about Sandy Hook? Also a false flag. My butch mom yelled at me (not new, she yells when she gets passionate), told me that all these things I believe were narratives invented by white nationalists who want to overthrow the government and run the country with a militia. (Maybe partially true, but not completely) We are so far apart on this stuff, I know I will never convince them, but it does still feel shitty to see that they research and think critically and yet come to the opposite conclusion as I do. And now I wish I hadn't said anything.

Oh and we talked about immigration, how I think that if we spent the war money on fixing these places, we wouldn't have to take in so many, and that the people we take aren't even the poorest, they are the people who are smart and restless and would actually change their own countries if they stayed. Oh man, none of it went over well. The only thing we agreed on is that the elite pedophile ring is real.
