Lol look up crispr gene editing kits, you can edit your genetics from your kitchen bench or make an antibiotic resistant disease for fun. We're going to redefine humanity very soon, just like the industrial revolution and the advent of computers, genetic technology is exploding in efficiency. Either we or our children will become space faring super humans, or brain frozen slaves to the global elite. The next generations terrorists and military leaders will be using some creepy super virus, the future will be very unpredictable from now on.
We now have the technology to edit the code but my guess is that it'll be a while longer before we know enough to make significant coherent changes. E.g., we seem to know when certain words are misspelled and could probably prevent diseases by correcting those. I don't think we can string together very complicated sentences (tissues?) yet, let alone paragraphs (organs?) or books (whole organisms?)
