Chemtrails is the colloquial term, a meme, if you will, used to more easily spread the topic among the masses (however, please note its usage in the Congressional document listed below at source number 6). The current geoengineering projects seem to be putting compounds filled with metal particulates (aluminum, strontium, and barium are the most prominent ones that have been found in water and soil tests) into our atmosphere by various methods.
