https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9NOIoLegqg - Hillary advisor lying through her teeth to newscaster who knows it. Note the rehearsed friendly tone, the forced smile.
When I see a person who carries themselves this way and speaks this way I immediately distrust them, because this is the demeanor of someone whose job it is to seem trustworthy without being trustworthy.
Does anyone have any idea why people might think this behavior makes them seem trustworthy?

It's like the physical version of "phone voice".

I found another video of a different Hillary affiliate (robby mook) lying through his teeth about Hillary's campaign while smiling ear-to-ear. If these people were sitting at a my poker table, I would raise on whatever hand made them smile like that.

Her eyes stay open for an abnormally long period of time, and when she does actually blink it looks forced.

Looks like she's trying to use Neural Linguistic Programming with that botox smile. Yea... not buying it.

Business do a lot of work with these people as their interface with people they don't want to deal with. Consider the stereotype of the clueless, back-stabbing HR managers, or customer service representatives, or PR spokesmen. Their entire career is built around misunderstanding lies as politeness, and often betrayal and lies get them promoted (or at least fired upwards).

they think noone knows they're lying.
