"Spez" has poisoned the credibility of the whole site by altering and/or impersonating user 'content'. You know; that 'content' that attracts all the pageviews and advertising eyeballs?
The Reddit user community now has no assurance that its posts and comments won't be altered. This will lead to real-world consequences.
Every defense lawyer, from the one for this guy to Mr. "Very VIP" himself is probably filing motions to toss out all "evidence" obtained from Reddit, since it's no longer possible to prove that what's displayed is what the 'user' entered.
When the CEO of the company:

Section 3: Content is prohibited if it --Impersonates someone in a misleading or deceptive manner
...and 2. the user agreement:
You are solely responsible for the information associated with Your Account and anything that happens related to Your Account.
...what court could hold someone 'solely responsible' when admins have admitted they can change and insert 'posts' and 'comments' while using others' identities?
