Bernie would have won. He didn't have Clinton's baggage and would have benefited from the Democrat machine. Plus no one hated him. I disagreed with everything he said, but I thought he was straight forward and 'honest.' Dems fucked up.

Good article in general, though I also disagree with a bunch of it. I do see these election results as a rejection of the establishment, which is what Bernie supporters perceive him to be. However, the problem with Bernie is that he's a a typical socialist who hides behind that sort of rebellious label and just confuses people into thinking capitalism and markets are the enemy. Trump winning is proof that people are both sick of the establishment, but aren't dumb enough to fall for socialism in the process.

He had none of Hillary's negatives, but all of her benefits i.e. the DNC machine. He also had enthusiasm on his side. Trump won with fewer votes than Romney - the only reason Hillary lost was because Dems didn't bother to vote. Bernie stood a real chance of wining.
